Submit for review

  1. Prepare your repository, metadata and README.
  2. Open Submit and select Sign in with GitHub.
  3. Pick one of your public repositories under Repository.
  4. Pick a branch under Branch. The default branch is selected first.
  5. Select Import.
  6. Check the preview, source commit, metadata, images and README. Fix any validation errors in the repository, then import the new commit.
  7. Select Submit for review.

An imported draft is not public. The first submission waits for a reviewer. After approval, the entry appears in the appropriate catalog. The same owner can then publish updates from the website without another routine review.

Submission states#

State Meaning
Draft Imported preview; not yet submitted.
Pending Submitted and waiting for review.
Approved Published through first approval or an authorized creator update; the listing must remain active to appear publicly.
Rejected Reviewer declined this revision; the reason appears with it.
Withdrawn The creator withdrew this revision.
Superseded A newer approved revision replaced it.

The selected branch is resolved to one commit during import. That exact content is shown in the preview and submitted for review. Later changes to the branch do not change the stored revision.

Importing the same commit again returns its existing revision. Push a new commit for changed content.
